Kate Nash - 11.11.2012 in Hamburg, Molotow
I’ve been to another Kate Nash concert yesterday and it was one of the best I’ve ever been to. When I saw the setlist I knew it was going to be loud, rock n roll and all fun. I bet half of the people expected the nice, pop-Kate of her first records and got their first rock concert instead. The gig was just awesome, I danced through the whole set. At We Get On everybody got up on stage to dance with her. It was so cozy.
After the show I was surprised: Kate came out just ten minutes after the gig to talk to everybody and give autographs. She hugged everyone and was so happy and enjoyed talking to her fans. I was just standing there and watching. Then she came over, hugging me and the guys around me. I had nothing to do but waiting for my train so I stayed and watched Kate. When there were only 5 people left, she told us where she would go to hang out later (a really crappy bar btw) and invited us to join them. I was so impressed how normal and lovely she was. When I told her I was a little bit sad they didn’t play Rap for Rejection she was like “yeees! I know! We’ll play it next time.” Then she asked me what’s on my Shirt (“what the fuck am I doing here lying on the floor”) and I told her that it was a Blood Red Shoes Shirt and she told me that she really likes them. In the end she asked us to do a photo with her, so we did. I’m quite not sure if I really want to see this pic but it would be a great memory of an amazing night anyway.
I’m really in love with Kate Nash now.

Kate Nash Show - Mr. Smalls, Pittsburgh PA
I want to keep this short, but I had an amazing time. She put on a show that I will never forget. I was jumping and screaming, and Kate came over to me while on stage to shake my had, it was immaculate. I have been an avid fan of Kate Nash since I was fourteen, and I finally got to go to my first Kate show as a twenty-one year old. Her band killed, the set list rocked and Kate brought the house down … dream come true.
Last Night (1/12/12)!
Okay, I’m gonna put in a ‘read more’ so I’m not clogging up your dashboard with my thoughts and what-not.

Where even to start these magical past three days?! gonna try and keep it as short as I can, by I totally need to share! I was in the Fri-End? video, which was an absolutely amazing experience, nothing beats just chilling back and learning some dance moves. Although, don’t get me wrong it took everyone probably about an hour just to learn the routine, I think that everyone should totally learn it and do it whenever they hear Fri-End? I’m totally willing to help anyone who wants to learn it. I know I look totally burnt out, but baring in mind this was after about four hours of dancing crazily… p.s don’t judge my moves if you spot me, I realize I look like I’m having some sort of weird seizure!

Hahaha, I love these photos, I think they’re so funny. Who wouldn’t love Kate Nash dressed as a tomato?! I mean come on, it was proper funny, she kept knocking me and apologizing for doing it… at the start of the premiere she gave every individual a hug, I asked her if she felt like the Queen - she replied the tomato queen. I thought that was hilarious as anything. The video was awesome, so surreal to see it played back as we put so much hard work into it. The ghost I’m holding is called Gilbert, I told Kate that I loved them and wanted one, and she asked Clare if I could have one, who said yes. I asked Kate what I should call him, she at first said ‘Casper’ I said “stereotypical”, so she said ‘Whitey the Ghost?’ then she was like no… ‘Gilbert’ then I was like “yeah that fits, sounds like a sitcom” and she said ‘Shelby and Gilby, yeah!’ seriously the cutest thing. Everyone hail Gilby ;-)

Buffy was obviously an awesome, awesome experience. But mostly covered by Alex (below).. I had a present to give Kate, but by the end of the night she had to meet press and I was worried that we we’re going to miss the last train home. Luckily, I bumped into Rebekah and asked if she would give it to Kate, which she agreed to do…

(damn you baby hair….)
Tonight (Shacklewell Arms) was absolutely immense. I thought I was going to be late, as I finally got there at half seven and was rushing toward the venue and bumped into Emma and Linda who were really sweet, they helped me find where to queue and are just the most awesome of girls… I asked Emma if Kate had received my gift and she was like ‘I’m not sure, but she’ll be here in a second so you can ask her yourself!’ literally about two minutes later Kate arrived, so I asked her, she said it was one of the nicest things she’d been given (no pun intended) and that she loved the necklace I made and that she’d put the stickers on her laptop… which is pretty sweet! :D
After queuing for a while, I had to go to the toilet and as I was washing my hands I bumped into Fern, who recognized me.. which is absolutely immense, from the Birmingham gig earlier on. I made a joke about having to get some more funny face photos (which explains the one above) and I asked if she could save me her setlist, and she was like ‘yeah, of course’ and then we parted so I could queue again. The support bands are amazing, Alanna was really good, you can check her out here (http://soundcloud.com/ide-s) I did get her setlist but lost it as it was tucked in my scrapbook, ahhh. Sorry. The Tuts who were also in the Fri-End? video were the second support and again, incredible. You should all go buy their EP cause they are rockin’. And of course, Kate, who was as funny and witty as always. There were quite a few new songs that different from the ones she played at her latest tour, and one that isn’t included on the setlist (I want a boyfriend with a car, I think it’s called but I can’t remember exactly, sorry!!) also, Free my Pussy is THE funniest song ever, haha. It was a charity gig which was really sweet, at the end Fern came looking for me to grab me a setlist, but I’d got one cause I wasn’t sure if she was coming back out (she sure keeps her promise, the sweetest) so I got the whole band to sign it, which should be below this post… As I was leaving Kate remembered I wanted my scrapbook signed, she was using my silver sharpie and was like ‘can you read that?’ and I said ‘no, not in this light, I’ll look later’, she signed my setlist too and I showed her the photo of me & Emma, Fern & Linda which she thought was really funny, she told me if I went to the next gig she’d sign my Thin Kids vinyl too. She said that it was awesome seeing me the past few days and she’d hoped I’d enjoy myself (I also got my phone signed which is lovely) and she gave me a hug and I left. Had an brilliant week, seriously you all need to go see her ASAP if you haven’t already, right now here are the setlists and what she wrote in my scrapbook! sorry this is so long, congrats to anyone who finished reading - this is the shortest I could do, too much to fill in. xxx

Okay, so hey.
I met Kate on the 17th of June at King Tuts. It was fucking awesome.
I was talking to Helen at the merch stand and buying a tshirt when my friend (Louise) tapped my shoulder and said “Kate Nash is behind us.”, so I thought she was joking and turned around laughing, and there was Kate Nash, standing there with a plastic cup full of wine. I whipped round and kinda threw a birthday card I’d gotten her into her hand. She was a bit drunk and thought I was asking to get it signed, so was like “Yeah I’ll get it in a sec-ooooooooooooh you’re too cute.” then took it and hugged me. Then she said “Come over here.” whilst still going relatively unnoticed, and jumped behind the merch stand, where she began to sign stuff. In the confusion I realised I had nothing in my hand to get signed, so I just gave her an (already signed) poster and she wrote “To Craig <3<3<3<3 Love you” on it, then stopped for a photo, hugged me and called me cute again. I also caught her guitar pick when she threw it into the crowd that night, but it fell out of my pocket which was shit!
When I got home Kate had sent me a DM on twitter asking for my tumblr. Perfect night.
28/06/12 - My Kate Nash Experience at The Haunt, Brighton.
Best. Night. Ever.
The show itself was utterly amazing, the support acts where so brilliant and the crowd - you could just tell everybody was in love with Kate. When she came on stage, although it was a small intimate venue, the room lit up and everybody was smiling like idiots.
My best friend (Anna) and I (Emma) booked tickets for the show months ago, it was going to be our treat for finally getting through our gcses. We were ridiculously excited and could not wait until the night.
The day finally came around and it was just so brilliant. We went down to Brighton with another close friend of ours and went out to lunch in celebration of Anna’s birthday (which was a few days before). As we were walking along the main drag of shops, I stopped dead in a sea full of people and said, really calmly and seriously “Anna. That’s Kate Nash.” There she was, the girl I’d sung along to for years, was just walking past us in the street, and silly me was ridiculously starstruck and was way to shy to chase after her for an autograph. I was so annoyed at myself, I had missed my chance of meeting this amazing beautiful person who I just admired so much.
After our failed meeting, we decided to pop into Lush to browse bath bombs before heading to the show. The shop assistants asked us what our plans where and we explained we were about to go and see Kate Nash. They suddenly got really excited and decided to make a “Lush Stash for Kate Nash” and filled a bag of goodies for Kate. They made us promise we would give it to her and we realised we had been given the chance to try again at meeting her.
After the amazing concert, we met the lead singer of the support band, who was so sweet and cool (and complimented Anna’s t-shirt a dozen times!) and got a photo with her. She told us if we waited for a while after the show Kate would come out and meet us.
After braving the freezing cold for half an hour, (although we barely felt it from excitement), Kate came out and I forget everything I wanted to tell her. We blurted out the Lush story at high speed which she thought was adorable and she grabbed us for a cuddle. I could barely believe it, Kate Nash was giving me a cuddle! I rambled on about how beautiful I thought she was and she just gushed and smiled and told us how cute and adorable we were. After a few more cuddles and photos, our moment with her had ended.
We walked back to the station to catch our train in a daze, texting and calling and posting on facebook along the way, bragging about how amazing our night had been. Every few minutes we would just turn to each other in astonishment and cry “OMYGODWEJUSTMETANDHUGGEDKATENASHAAHHHH”.
I will never forget how touched she was with our present and compliments or how brilliant she was up on stage. She is an amazing, down to earth person, who even dedicated her time to giving an inspiring speech during her performance on how women are viewed today. I just wish I had, had the brains to remember to tell her that I had contributed to her fan book!
xoxo.
